Portland United Youth FC Tournament 2024

We’re excited to offer you an invitational space in our summer football tournament. We’re always proud to put on a tournament that really focuses on the football.

The format will again ensure loads of game time against evenly matched teams and there’ll be very little waiting around time.

As before, we’ll be providing two opportunities for silverware, with teams either progressing into a cup or plate competition, based on positions after the group stage. And of course, this all takes place in the unique setting of ‘The Bowl’.

Full disclosure: we always invite slightly more teams than we have places, and they get filled fast. So please do not delay in securing your place

• Under 7s: Sunday 9th June, morning
• Under 9s: Sunday 9th June, afternoon
• Under 10s (Matt’s invites): Saturday 8th June, morning
• Under 10s (Liam’s invites): Saturday 8th June, afternoon
• Under 11s: Sunday 9th June, morning
• Under 12s: Sunday 9th June, afternoon
• Under 13s: Saturday 8th June, morning
• Under 14s: Saturday 8th June, afternoon
• Under 15s: Saturday 15th June, afternoon
• Under 9s Girls: Saturday 15th June, afternoon
• Under 11s Girls: Saturday 15th June, morning
• Under 15s Girls: Saturday 15th June, morning

Games are competitive and players in the winning sides will receive tournament medals & a trophy.

Games will be 6-aside with registered squads not exceeding 9 players.

Rolling subs will be permitted.

Age groups are for this current season, 2023/24, so players must not have exceeded their respective age groups by 31st August 2024.

A copy of the Tournament Rules will be circulated shortly.

There will be a BBQ and refreshments available throughout the day and there’ll be plenty of room for shelters, gazebos etc. Unfortunately, no dogs are permitted at the Bowl. Parking is £1 per car for the session
